Assessment, Strategy
I start by understanding you as a whole person: not only your transcripts, coursework, grades and test scores but your hobbies, goals and dreams. Then we work together to determine the best strategies to get you there: which courses, programs, activities might be best. I offer support and resources for potential programs and courses as well as extracurricular activities. I also offer resources for testing support. For those who are unsure of their potential majors or interests we work together to help you pinpoint them.

Building College Lists
I work with each student to understand how to weigh the different factors in selecting a college. I then build an initial very lengthy list of colleges. The student and family then narrow down the list over time so each student has a tight, deeply considered list of colleges with a strong fit. To stay on top of colleges and their offerings, I not only attend conferences, college fairs, and campus visits I also speak with graduates to gain a deeper understanding of each college. Given the dynamic changes around us today staying abreast of current developments is very important.
The Application
One on one in depth support for every step of the way from crafting strong essays and activity lists to helping craft brag sheets that foster great recommendations. I'm on hand to answer all the ongoing questions whether dealing with questions on the application itself to preparation for interviews.
